Haiku for you - marriage of poetry, illustration and storetelling.

Every once and awhile I find some interesting internet collaborative art projects.

I’ve been following the ongoing Postsecret blog started by Frank Warren in October of 2004. Frank has received thousands of anonymous postcards that are now part of the Postsecret art collection. The postcard project has been featured in gallery exhibits, music videos, and most recently, it became a subject of the bestselling book Post Secret. The postsecret blog has been ranked by New York magazine as the third most popular blog on the Internet.

I made a note of the Skin Project awhile back.

Just this week, I stumbled upon another engaging and interesting collaborative Internet art project - Haiku for You

Basically, they post daily a new original haiku image inspired by story submissions from Internet readers and members of their blog community.
Members of Haiku for You blog community participate in developing future ideas and topics for the Haiku project submitting ideas entering the illustrations.

Finding Haiku for You was nice reward for visual glutton like me.
What an excellent marriage - the arts of storytelling, poetry, and illustration! So much talent out there!
If you are into poetry, illustration and storytelling, you might want to follow this project with me.
